Rad Shifts is a healthcare staffing marketplace that solves a persistent problem in medical imaging: staffing shortages at small hospitals and outpatient imaging centers across Texas. When a facility can't staff a radiology shift, imaging services shut down — patients get rescheduled, revenue disappears, and care gets delayed.
Rad Shifts needed a platform that would let facilities post open shifts and find qualified, licensed radiologic technologists fast — not through recruiters or staffing agencies, but through a direct marketplace where providers browse nearby opportunities, apply instantly, and get paid automatically.
The scope was significant — a facility web app, a provider mobile app, and an admin portal for compliance and oversight. A traditional team would estimate 5 months and 20+ people. The founder needed to launch faster than that.
